In celebration of the start of oyster season, oysters are on the house at the South Loop’s newly-opened Chicago Oyster House. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wed, Sept. 18 and Thur, Sept. 19, the restaurant launches its inaugural oyster season with FREE OYSTER FLIGHTS: 3 fresh, assorted East and West coast oysters from their extensive Fresh Oysters Menu, normally priced at $2.75 per oyster.
The oyster season kick-off celebration continues with a variety of Dinner Menu options, including:
– Grilled Blue Point Oysters, topped with garlic, cilantro, Parmesan cheese.
– Whole Steamed Oysters, served with drawn butter.
– Ichi Grilled Oysters, grilled with ponzu sauce, topped with diced jalapeno, scallions, ginger.
– Southern Fried Oysters, spiced batter dipped, fried, served with Chicago Oyster House hot sauce.
In addition to oysters, there’s plenty of fish in the sea — and on the menu — at Chicago Oyster House, with options ranging from Crab Cakes, Maine Lobster, and Grilled Scallops, to Peel & Eat Shrimp, Soft Shell Crab, Snow and Red King Crab Legs…along with a full and complete Sushi menu.
