Tucked in a century-old building at the corner of Clark and Aldine, Hutch — a 120-seat American bistro opened just 8-month, has found its niche among those seeking craveable comfort-classics in a friendly, handsome, approachable setting.
After garnering top reviews and keeping Chicagoans warm, snug and sated this long arctic winter, chef/owner Marc Wuenschel has unveiled a new spring brunch and dinner menu, including Shrimp and Grits — 2 eggs any style, cheddar cheese grits, tomato chutney, Hutch breakfast potatoes, $12. Steak ‘n Fries — New York Strip served alongside mound of skinny-cut seasoned fries. $22. Chocolate Lava Cake — Rich dark cocoa cake, filled with warm chocolate Nutella, topped with fresh raspberries, served with raspberry sauce, candied hazelnuts, $9.
Hutch — 3301 North Clark Street, Chicago. 773-248-1155.
