Strap on the bibs, roll-up the sleeves, and dig-in with both hands. The seafood boil rage roars into Chicago’s West Loop with the opening of Mad Boiler, a causal, 75-seat Cajun seafood boil concept from Stanley Liem and Sara Katekaew, the team behind the popular Miku Sushi in Lincoln Square.
Mad Boiler’s menu features 1-pound, market price seafood boil options like lobster, crawfish, mussels, crab legs, plus lobster rolls ($16), shrimp and oyster Po’boys ($13) along with full bar service. Market prices range from approx $9 to $14 for crawfish, mussels, shrimp to approx $26-$40 for lobster tail and king crab legs. Guest choose from 11 seafood options, then select sauce, heat level, and add-ons like corn-on-the cob, sausage, potatoes ($3).
