Chicago Media Celebs Shake It Up For Charity

Mike Foran Public Relations teamed our client, Chicagoland Fred Astaire Dance Studios, with the March of Dimes to present “Dance for Babies,” a red-hot fund-raising event to aid the March of Dimes efforts to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Local media celebrities were paired with Fred Astaire Dance Studios pro instructors. For more than 6-weeks, each celeb trained and rehearsed intensely with their instructor at local Fred Astaire Studios, culminating in a high-energy, Dancing With the Stars-style competition staged at Chicago’s Galleria Marchetti. Celeb participants included:
